You’re probably not following a strict enough diet or working out improperly. Stomachs are the hardest part of your body to show tone, imo. It takes a lot of discipline and hard work.
Download a calorie tracker app. Limit yourself. I limit myself to 1300 calories a day when I don’t workout, 1300+ [however many calories I worked off] on a day I worked out. I typically burn 700-1200 calories each workout and I workout 5-6 times a week. Determining how many calories you need to burn in a day all depends on your sex, your athletic ability, and what you’re trying to do with your body.
Make sure your calories are good calories, not empty ones. Google iifym if you don’t know what I’m talking about.
I eat a lot of protein in my diet. If it’s not from my food, it’s from my protein shakes that I drink post workout to feed my muscles what they need. I also take pre-workout to ensure that I have enough fuel to give me that extra pump when lifting and that extra set when doing core.
When you’re working out, make sure you’re doing every one of your sets properly. You should be making sure that you’re doing every single movement correctly and slowly for maximum efficiency and burn. (Seriously. Youtube a movement if you don’t know if you’re doing it correctly. Do it in front of a mirror) If you’re not, you’re just wasting your own time. Make sure you balance your cardio with your core work. You NEED both. A lot of people think just doing sit ups are going to get you a nice “summer tummy”. That’s an absolute fallacy.
Keep in mind that your stomach is the absolute last thing that will show tone. You need to lose nearly all your vanity fat (good fat) in that region for your muscles to show. (Which means a lot of cardio before you can even dream about your stomach showing tone)
TL;DR - do your research and do everything right or you might as well not do it at all. Results come with hard work and discipline.
I hope this helped. I get really frustrated when people complain about how hard it is for them to work out yet they don’t like their body or when my advice isn’t working for them, yet they don’t do it right, so I might have come off a little bitchy. It’s touchy for me when people think my results come out of thin air or good genes.
Best of luck!

“Vindictive bitch” is not a good look for you.
